The issue I have beyond the 1 bath norm in Allied Gardens, is there is ZERO insulation in the walls on those post-war cottages (high heat & cool), single pain windows, wiring is poor, pluming sucks, and zero storage. Other than that they are just fine.

I’ll concede most of your points except for the fact that my house (and many in this area) have been retrofitted with dual pane vinyl windows.
However, the 50 year old construction quality FAR exceeds the stuff they are throwing together in CV these days.
