The one I live in people don’t really act that way.Friends may show respectful concern, mostly serving as great sounding boards.Over the long haul they prove to be very accepting and helpful, even when I screw up. Family defers as they should.My mother in a law is fantastic. Co-workers and lesser aquaintances are subtle if not kind.
I guess I better remember to be grateful.
