All revelry is relative. Can’t imagine buying a house in the IE for $300K, when we paid not much more that that for our house in La Jolla.
Now in our 40’s, with no loans or HELOC’s–and no plans to ever move–we know it was one of the best decisions we ever made–for us and for our kids. We’ve been able to give them a stable life in a place we love living.
We could laugh at others for their badly timed, greedy and down-right stupid business decisions, but we believe it’s really better to spend your time living the life you want to live. The entire world is unraveling. Enjoy it while you can.
