I need help to understand the differences between the affordable refi and conventional refi. I understand that the former has the advantage of having a more flexible LTV up to 105%, but other than that, what other benefits does the affordable program can offer to a homeowner in terms of fees, closing, appraisal transaction and all that. Does it waive appraisal fee? Thanks.
