Participantsome wall colors such as a single red wall are part of Feng shui and are supposed to bring certain energies to the occupants. I copied this from about.com “The Feng Shui energy of color red is the energy of arousal. It is hot, passionate, rich and celebratory.”
Since those are the same words i use to describe myself on internet dating sites, I’ll take a red accent wall in the boudoir, I’ve seen accupuncture work so it’s off to the home depot for me.

ParticipantIt took me a while to figure out you weren’t talking about a massive wall in China. I like some of them, like the one with the white built in bookshelves with the wall behind painted a rust color. My wife likes them all. Another trend I am less fond of, paint all the rooms a different color with the ceilings all painted white.
