Nah, that’s not a deal. At all. That sold for $1,045,000 in 2003.

Looking at the history on redfin – it looks like it was bought by a 3rd party at the steps for 1.065M and immediately listed for 1.69M. It wasn’t a REO – but it had been foreclosed on. The investor was smart – dropped the price regularly till they got a bite. They still made a few hundred thousand.
