Not steak specific but the tasting menu with wine pairings at Laurel is really pretty rad.
Also, the red fox room has done me well with meat dishes before.
Finally, for a good steak, fries, and mojito lunch, I recommend The Tractor Room.
For the bang for your buck, I like the Butcher Shop in Clairemont. For high end, I prefer Donovan’s over Ruth’s Chris. Although both are very good. Donovan’s fillet is just better quality meat.
