ParticipantI would like to buy a Tesla, but it is out of my price range. I am just hoping that this will spur more competition and better looking cars than the Prius. I think it is kind of homely, practical, but homely.

Participant“better looking cars than the Prius. I think it is kind of homely, practical, but homely”
Why! Why! Does it cost that much more to make a fuel efficient car look nice?
I sometimes don’t understand car companies. Do they think people don’t care what a car looks like? Wouldn’t more people buy if it is alternative AND looks good?

ParticipantI don’t understand why they don’t make a more conservative tesla car, one that gets more mileage with less engine. They bring that out with a decent price, they will not be able to make them fast enough..
