and quite honestly that is why you are rotting in an oversized Scripps Ranch McManision. You beleive what you see on the internet. I just put 2000 sq ft and newer tyhan 1980 less than 600K and into the MLS and came up with 22 detached houses nowhere near 46. Then i added a 3 car garage and it went to 6. then I looked at which were in the encinintas/san dieguito school district and none were. Enjoy the view from 20mils away.

and that’s why you rot in a small cookie cutter home with a huge unusable slope in the back. you can enjoy that view.
that home is what it is, a mid 80’s tract home that features its 3 car garage prominently. just look at the freaking picture, where is the house? where is the curb appeal? you drive up and you see your treasured 3 car garage. that look is so 3 decades ago. and for over $300/sqft? and you call that a good deal? what in the world are you smoking? what are you growing on that slope of yours?

July 2, 2011 at 8:22 AM #707707blahblahblahParticipantIt’s in a really good neighborhood, there is not a lot available there, and many dual-income professional types want to live in that area. $625K is a good deal for the square footage, location, and current market. I agree it is funny looking with the 3-car garage, but there are a lot of funny looking houses in SD. Doesn’t mean people won’t still pay to live in them if they check off all the important boxes, especially location. Yeah you can get cheaper $/sf in other areas, but IMO that is a prime location in South Carlsbad.
