Question: Would you prefer to see massive tax cuts for the richest 2% of Americans leading to eventual bankruptcy of the government or wage increases for your fellow workers?
Yes I would.

Those are basically your two choices. Republicans like to pay lip service to cutting spending, but no government ever has cut spending. It’s not going to happen. So a vote for Republicans is basically a vote for massive tax cuts for the rich which will lead to massive budget deficits and eventual bankrupting of the government. On the other side, you have the Democrats who are in the back pocket of the unions. Unions are great for all workers. When union wages go up, that puts pressure on non-union employers to raise wages.
I prefer to vote for the corrupt party that is on the side of the working man as opposed to the corrupt party that only cares about the richest 2% of Americans.
Dude, check the scoreboard buddy. The country has spoken. +60 seat gains, Demo got their asses kicked for very unpopular stances on public policies over the last 2 years. It’s not that Rep’s are any better necessarily,
but people want the Gov hands out of their cookie jar.I’m happy Brown got elected. It’s exactly what we need for this state to get closer to filing for Bankruptcy.
Finally, we’re closer to a balanced government with appropriate checks and balances. Hopefully, now our government can agree to disagree on most everything except the really important decisions…..
And thank God (pun intended) that Coons won and not that nut job ODonnell.
But the best part of this election?….Goodbye Pelosi!!!!! Good riddance!!!!!! La la la la. la la la la , hey hey hey, say goodbye. Now that’s “CHANGE”…..
Tomorrow is gonna be a great day….

November 3, 2010 at 5:22 AM #625767ArrayaParticipantNo, the Dems got beat because the Right was organized and motivated and the left is disillusioned and disorganized. Couple that with the fact that poverty stricken people generally don’t vote. Dems won’t get it together until 2014 – because people will be so horrified at the state of the country by then. Obama is destined for hoover status.
