Pepsi I don’t see this as a great smoking deal at all. I see this as a home with a poor layout with a tiny yard within spitting distance of high power lines. Just because other people are willing to pay a million bucks for it, or that it went for alot more money in the past doesn’t make it a smoking deal.

Even at $263 sqf (1M for 3800sqf), it is still a great deal for CV. The house is in good condition, even compare to regular sale (excellent for un-occupied / short sale)
I would say this kind of deals only come 2 or 3 time a year in CV.
Of course, if high end does come down like many other blogs predicted, this will not be as hot in 2010. But, for 2009, I think it is pretty hot for people with large down payment.

There are 3 wires on the poles.
If I remember them right, one is 230KV, and 2 are 690KV. They are not mega-voltage lines, but are still considered as high voltage.
The EMF in the master bedroom is equvilent to having a fluorescent light always on 24×7 around you.

The power lines on the back is not as bad as those on the steel towers. My wife didn’t even think they are high voltage wires until I pointed out those ceramic disc on the poles.
And I don’t think anyone can hear anything standing in the backyard of that house.
