May 31, 2009 at 12:11 PM #407859SD RealtorParticipantActually the short sale listing does not have to have an offer accepted to be put into contingent status. There are some cases, one in pq right now, where they have several offers but none are accepted, and the agent has put the home into contingent status. None of them have been accepted however the agent has submitted the highest and best offer into the lender for review.
I have been in the Alonda home and have had dealings with the listing agent. My advice would be to have your agent call him up and check the situation out.
