There’s a very broken mindset with fitness (especially crossfit fanatics) IMHO, that you need to beat yourself to death. That’s true if you’re 28 with 8% body fat gunning for 6%. If you’re 45, with 3 kids and a 28% fat pot belly, 2 hours in the gym, isn’t a realistic plan.
