FYI, you yourself, just lump EVERYONE who are not a liberal into a nut job camp.
You’ll have to show me where I did that. I’m quite sure you won’t be able to.

No, when it comes to the issue of crime and criminals, I pretty much just hate extreme liberals.
Because they are wussies that like to play like everything plays like they belong in a kindergarden class…
When it comes to women’s rights, gay rights, and religion (or the choice of being an atheist), I pretty much hate the nutjob extreme conservatives…
And I’m on the fence on who I hate when it comes to fiscal policy these days. I’ll let you know once the government shutdown is over. Though the tea party are sure in the lead of pissing me off.
you know why when it comes to crime, Bloomberg isn’t bad in NY? Because he thinks more like a conservative leaning person when it comes to crime handling…Because he gets that dealing with NYC crime is a major PITA…
Ok, before it was “I hate liberals with a passion,” and now it’s “I hate extreme liberals.”
First, that’s a pretty big difference. Like the difference between your average conservative and todd akin. Second, the portrayal of basically all “liberals” as extreme liberals and the generation of the perception that extreme liberals are very common are creations of the right-wing noise machine. Extreme liberals are, I would say, quite rare. The noise machine jumps all over gloria allred and jesse jackson and al sharpton. And rightly so; these people are fools. But they portray all liberals as sharing values with these people. That’s just not the case. Any more than it’s the case that your average conservative shares values with todd akin.
Bloomberg is tough on crime? Great. So are a lot of people you might call liberals. Here’s another creation of the noise machine: Atheist? For gay marriage? For financial oversight? LIBERAL! He’s got one of the traits! He’s a liberal! They don’t come out and say “he’s got one of the traits; he’s a liberal.” They just call him a liberal. And they assume he’s liberal on all issues and that he shares values with al sharpton and that he’s an extreme liberal. I’m an atheist (or as close as you can get to one without being certain) who is for gay marriage and for financial oversight. But I’m also for tough penalties for serious crimes, and against affirmative action, multiculturalism and “political correctness.” So am I a liberal or not? The noise machine, if they heard just one of my “liberal” views, would have you believe I am. Example: They might say, regarding a rally, for instance, against prop 8, “these liberals…” So anybody who is against prop 8 is a liberal. And then they jump to sharpton or allred or jackson and start spouting about their views and how liberals are this way or think that way. So they lump the protesters against prop 8 with extreme liberals. They’re not even subtle about it. But people respond to it. And this is how it manifests. One douchebag hires gloria allred because he’s a douchebag, and suddenly people are yelling, “I hate liberals.” As if all liberals are like this one douchebag. When in fact almost none of them are. When, in fact, we don’t even know if this one douchebag is a liberal. He could be a limbaugh junkie for all we know.

Let’s put this in perspective. If right now the mob biker were all white, and the SUV driver was black? What do you think *maybe* just *maybe* the same so called civic leaders might view things differently? Do you think CNN would be running an article titled “who’s the real victim in this attack?”
Why is it different?
You are of course correct. While I disagree generally with the portrayal of the media as “liberal,” I agree that they are terrified of calling anything that has to do with race as it really is. They’ll play that one safe every time. Which is quite pathetic.
Flu, I understand your frustration. The only place I think you’re wrong is in thinking these thugs are getting much support from liberals. They can claim they’re victims all they want. Anyone can make that claim. They’re not getting any sympathy from any liberals that I can find.
Exactly. The noise machine would have you believe that liberals in general agree with whatever gloria allred thinks. It just isn’t true.
I think that extreme liberals that can portray criminals as “victims” with “rights” above other decent humans are wackos…
I think that extreme liberals that want to paralyze our judicial system on technicalities for “show” to the point that criminals have an advantage over your average law abiding citizen are nutjobs …
Sure. To the same extent that todd akin is a wacko. But most liberals don’t feel that way, just like most conservatives don’t share akin’s beliefs on rape.
Zk, despite what you might think I’m not a wacko conservative. Perhaps my outburst was enraged because I was listening to Gloria’s press release as I was typing this going what the fvck… Again, my apologies for being out of character…
I don’t know why I’m taking this one so personal.. I guess it kinda hit way to close to home, because Alex’s life hit so close to my own even though he’s way in new york..
A few months ago, I know I was joking about bullet armor SUVs, and laughed it off as being waco…But these days, I’m not so sure it’s that crazy at all. I don’t like the idea that people think we’re easy targets, both on the street, and in the courtroom.
