Yeah, but if you think Carmel valley is expensive, you definitely wont be able to afford la jolla. At least not if you want to live in a reasonable sfh. Sounds to me you are in what I call: Poor rich….
You are too snooty and think you are too good for solid middle class neighborhoods with good construction but less than optimal location. So you want to be in a premium location with a premium house because you think you are rich and should be able to afford it, when in reality current housing market conditions doesn’t allow you afford the house you feel you should be able to buy because perhaps your wallet doesn’t go as far as you think it goes.
Hence your predicament of not being able to buy a house. Reality hasn’t set in, that given the current market conditions, you aren’t going to be able to find a house that meets your high standards in a premium location with your wallet size.
The funny part is you call others snotty. Lol…
