I gave you the reason for the analogy, you dislike it as it might have hit too close to home. Spare me the demands for logic, data, evidence it’s an overused and unoriginal tactic to do the very thing you accuse me of. In this case it borders on ludicrous.

Yes, there is a rebuke in my use of the phrase, so what? I find it entirely appropriate it the context it was used.
I in no way shouted down discourse. My point was if someone doesn’t like what they read here, how it’s written then maybe you need to go where you can read all the things that you like.
I have no desire to “defeat your arguments” they are inconsquential to me. I have no desire to change your mind, I am not threatened by your thoughts, beliefs etc.. Superiority over another isn’t anything I seek either, I won’t explain why there is no need to. Anyway those are your words not mine.
