You are probably right. In the meantime, I am thinking of checking out the Fidelity Amex Investment Rewards card. I think this was recommended to me when I asked about good rewards cards on this site a while back. Unfortunately, I did not listen to the advice because I knew I could make more on the Chase deal. (So my fault…).
I had another weird experience when I first got Chase. Or, it seemed weird to me anyways. I asked them to remove the cash advance option on my card and they refused. I stated that I would never use (and I would not) and that if anything was used on that it would be fraud. They told me to go pound sand? There was nothing they could do?
