Yes true I need to know it can be fixed. I’ve also been reading that just not using the system for a full year can bring it back to health by giving everything time to decay. Poop in buckets washing sinks iin the yard, or maybe just paper plates and plastic silverware, outdoor showers with a camping solar unit. No guarantees that would work but it could be fun.
Still needs to be fixable since it is possible future owners might prefer indoor plumbing to the great outddors or the govt might want to get all up in my shit. I need to research the law on humanure composting. I believe because it is not affectingcwater it us no more illegal than letting your dog crap in your yard.
