Yes, this was hands-down the funniest thing I’ve seen in the news all year. I had to re-wind and watch the clip three times. What stands out to me is not only Bush’s uber-sharp reflexes (you get the sense he has been prepping for this type of violent behavior for a while now), but the humor he displayed while dodging the offending footwear. There was no fear in his eyes — just the same old smirk we’ve grown so accustomed to seeing. You get the sense he must have been thinking, “What? That’s all you got for me? Just a lousy loafer?? No boots? No stilettos? Come on, BRING IT ON!!!”
