Yes, this is one of the first PQ subdivisions and it is cheaper than the west side. I have some students who live over that way, there are some nice areas, only one way in and out, that is Penasquitos drive. When there was a fire recently, no one could get out! They closed the road…also, yes, the section 8 housing is just down the road. The two elementary schools in the area are Los Penasquitos (low income and low scores) and Rolling Hills, better but not as good as the west side of PQ. High school is Mt.Carmel, but you have the option of intra-district transfer to Westview as long as there is room, which there is. There are some nice areas, some big yards, but we prefer to be on the west side, near the canyon.
