Yeah. That’s great until you put a “clown camera” up and it happens to point at the neighbor’s window and send footage of their 14 year old daughter changing to Amazon’s servers. Your right to film ends at someone else’s private property. Don’t be surprised to see your cameras cut off with a fireaxe and thrown in the trash.
The conditions for installing a camera should be:
(1) Local recording only. Get a DVR or fuck off — no need to extend Amazon’s surveillance network.
(2) No pointing at neighbors’ homes or windows.
Anyway, Amazon should be giving away the things for free, not charging people for the privilege of adding to their spying network.
