why kick em out at 18? cause that’s the number we agree on as adulthood? if the law changed to 14, would that be all right? it’s all kind fo arbitrary and a symptom of something else maybe….like, the world doesn’t have meaning or excitement of possibility for a lot of people. mabe they are failure sina true sense. their parents raised them in such a way that is almost the opposite of an old school tradesman who schools his son to work int he family trade and marries off his daughters. We raise kids intoa strange abyss…a marketplace…maybe get em a degree, and say, go, make your way. it may work for some, but i would imagine, statistically, it doesn’t fly for many/ sad world, maybe too many people, or too many people ahving kids for which there isn’t really a place…
