Who cares what is causing it, it’s fantastic. Bring on $5 gas and open up those freeways. Maybe by the time they open all the new toll lanes on the 15 you won’t even need it.
Let’s see, less traffic, less trucks, SUV’s and 4×4’s, less emissions, cheap cars are cool again, I rarely see 1970’s beaters spewing smoke in front of me or people hauling boats and toy haulers, fewer rock trucks chipping my windshield. Let’s not forget that it is destroying home values in the exhurbs. I’m sorry, what is so bad about $5 gas again?
Soon there will be some study that comes out that says Americans don’t actually spend more of their money on gas in total, but use less gas and spend about the same.
