While the customer may have been unreasonable in this situation, I would also like to point out that Legoland food is not very good. A few years ago I took my kids to the Legoland waterpark and we had lunch there. My kids tried the pizza and didn’t like it, nor did they eat it (and my kids have never turned down pizza before). I wrote an email to Legoland complaining about expensive food that my kids wouldn’t eat and told them for that price, it should at least be something my kids will eat. They responded with sending me Legoland cash, which was a nice gesture, but not very useful as we didn’t have passes. Whether the food has improved at all, I don’t know.
