While I’m no math whiz (as amply demonstrated on a previous thread), when there is an “even” number of data points you have to average the two data points in the middle of the set (the 14th & 15th in this case). The median of the data set above is the average of $1,875,000 and $2,115,000, which is $1,995,000. See, helping your kid with their math homework does pay some dividends! 😉
