What an outrage yesterday: at our Bronco All-Star baseball game (La Jolla Blue lost), they recited ‘The Pledge of Allegiance’! Including that darn phrase, ‘…under God…’
This on City of San Diego property. With public school kids on the team (in addition to those darn parochial school kids). Hats off and everything.
Who has the City Attorney’s e-mail, so that I can report this outrage?
Unrelated, on the chain link fence at the field was posted a ‘Free Lunch this Summer’ banner. Kids 5-18 years old can show up during summer at the facility for a free lunch. Roger Hedgecock posits that, since by policy the school district will not check identification, lots of adults and illegals will be showing up for free lunch, too.
Good thing that we have lots of money to burn in this city.
