Well, it’s a done deal and we’re in. Have to say that I love the house. Of course, we ended up where we were looking which was north county coastal. Which means, of course, that we’re screwed since this is the only area that’s still got significant downside (I’ve seen the threads…)
For me though, it really came down to what I thought I might find and exactly when I might find it. Maybe I didn’t get the great deal sdrealtor found for one of his clients (and that *is* a great deal), but it is something I can live with and might still be the best place I would have found for the money even if I waited another few years. At least for our family. Guess we’ll just have to see.
Regardless, I never have to buy another house again and my kids love it, my wife is happy and we’ve even got some holiday decorations up.
