Well I just found a way to save a a lot of money.FCP Euro had a lifetime replacement on all parts you buy. That I knew already. What I didn’t know is that it also applies to fluids and filters.
SO…The deal is that you change your oil, you buy new oil and filter, and then you ship the old oil and filter back and they refund you the original purchase price.
Now the caveat is you need to ship everything back 90 days and shipping is expensive…So it’s probably not worth paying to ship just a just of oil and 1 filter back…
BUT, in my case, I have 4 German cars so as long as I do all my maintenance all at the same time, I should be able to get lifetime oil, filter, brake rotors, brake pads , brake fluid, transmission fluid for free, minus shipping.
also UPS shipping to the east coast isn’t bad. It’s $25 up to 80 lbs so long as the shipping container volume is equivalent to 12″*12″*12″.
So I’m watching YouTube videos on how to make custom size shipping boxes out of old boxes ,since to ship things back, I need longer but shorter boxes, but I don’t want to buy boxes.
