Well, even though I’ve been becoming tempted a lot lately, I’m going to go ahead and wait a year at least. I want a modest mortgage so I can live comfortably and invest my extra money for my retirement, and the kids’ college tuition. I want to be able to take vacations too, have fun. Being a slave for life to a ridiculously high mortgage payment is so not worth it. A lot of people are figuring that out right now.
