We live in Stapleton, a newer area of Denver where the old airport was located. We got hit with about 10 inches of rain and it flooded many basements but we are nowhere near impacted like those in Longmont, Lyons, and Boulder. Denver city neighborhoods fared well. Aurora had a ton of flooding and places north of Denver are the areas most covered by the national news.
Terrible what has happened to everyone up there. There was nowhere for the water to go. Everyone of our neighbors mentioned that they have never seen a storm like this so hopefully its a 100 year storm vs more of the norm.
