We have a similar Bosch dishwasher. Going on 4 years now and it looks and works like new with no effort at all on our part. It gets super hot and handles whatever waste comes from dirty dishes extremely well. We have never had to empty the drain basket…nothing but wipe down the outer door. It is very quiet.
