Paid off means cheap living for the rest of my
life… so less $$ goes further. Or the $$ I do have can go towards things I enjoy, rather than a mortgage payment.
I can’t live in the house when I’m dead. But I can live cheap in it while I’m alive.
but in the end… everything is pointless. We’re born, we live, we die.
