Having walked through the streets of Ramallah at 2:00 AM, just me and the other jew in town, I didn’t move to the other side of the street. There were just more Palestinians there. Discussion overheard in the coffee shop the next morning went something like this:
1st Palestinian: Did you see the two crazy jews walking down the street last nite?
2nd Palestinian: Yeah, at least one of them looked f’ing nuts. I wouldn’t f’ with them.
