What’s your definition of trash? a $250k interior, w/out moving walls/plumbing/eletrical will probably get you mostly top of the line stuff. If I completely gut my house and replace everything w/out moving walls/plumbing/eletrical, I can probably get it done for around $100k-$150k w/ mid-high range stuff and finding great deals. Also, the biggest cost for a lot of the remodeling is labor. How much of the stuff can you do yourself. You can save thousands doing a lot of the stuff yourself, such as replacing doors, mouldings, paint, toilets, etc.
