Dan: Interestingly, the last time I voted GOP was 1996, during the Dole campaign for Prez.
I know that there is a huge element within the GOP that is getting sick and friggin’ tired of the nihilistic stance of the more reactionary subset (and it is a subset).
As far as Saint Ronald goes: Most of these assholes that run around touting his conservatism haven’t got a clue (or are ignoring) his ACTUAL record. I’ve had a couple of dustups with these born-again John Bircher GOP types and it’s amazing how utterly detached from objective reality they are.
