The guns were discussed in the context of defending ourselves against internal/external threats (be it terrorists or otherwise), rather than having the government do it for us. NONE of us were discussing using our little guns to defend AGAINST the government. See the difference? Yeah.
More to the point, the gun discussion was largely a threadjack talking about various guns and why we like ’em so much. You don’t really have that Montana Militia/Stormfront crowd participating on this site, so your shots are misplaced.
You might check out http://www.IHateUncleSugar.com or something like that. Plenty of fearful, under-educated pickup drivers to rant at there, I’d imagine.
