Tuvu, i think that you should move to SF not because of the city but to be close to your daughter.
You only have so much time to live and enjoy your family.
When people live apart, they grow apart.
If you can afford it, why not move to SF and have an adventure. You’ll make new memories and experience a different city. But best of all, you can meet you daughter for lunch, get to know her boyfriend, etc…
Sounds like your daughter became an adult in The City. Why not move there and get to know her as the wonderful adult she’s become?
