Good for a day trip,
We go there for day trips quite a bit,
It’s about a 40-50 minute drive from my house, maybe 1.5 hours from most of SD.
Has a real nice park on the beach that has several resorts to check out in walking distance of there, there is a nice walking/biking trail that goes along the beach then through some beautiful golf courses that pass buy some really nice (real mansions) on the beach.
Then we usally do dinner at the riz and head home (all in a day).
