Don’t buy a no-name brand. I’ve long learned Vizio’s aren’t great, and at one point, they were much cheaper than brand names. But recently, not so much difference. For LCD, I like sharp. For plasma, I was pretty happy with Panasonic when they first came out (the ones that are manufactured as a monitor, not with the built in tuner). Not sure these days.
