From 6:55 in the video, discussing Ron Paul dropping from the race:
“As for Ron Paul, he could have been the only candidate that I would have voted for…I look at the Republicans and the Democrats, it’s just a political crime family, a gang of 535 – that’s how many Senators and Congressmen there are – so I’m not going to be an accessory to the crime. And by voting for a Republican or a Democrat to me, it’s a criminal act.”
Uh, wait. Didn’t he just say he would have voted for a Republican had Ron Paul been the Republican nominee?
Per the gang of 535 – isn’t this guy aware that Paul has been a member of that political crime family, as he calls it, since 1996?
(8:40)
When talking about Paul’s advice to support Romney:
“To me this is a sellout, because doing *anything* with the Republican party or the Democratic party, as I said, is doing something with the Bananos and Gambinos. It’s just a crime family with a white shoe label on them. These are the mass murderers who send over drones, start wars, and rob your money.”
…but he was perfectly okay with Ron Paul joining one of those crime families. Doesn’t make a lick of sense. He should have been advocating Paul running as an independent, not a Republican, using his logic. That would have been a more upstanding thing to do than supporting Paul joining the “crime family” as he puts it.
(9:05)
“Ron Paul has a great voting record, he is a man on integrity. What are they thinking telling their constituents hey we’re gonna win with the delegates don’t worry, and then now saying oh yeah go be respectful of Romney…”
Are they aware that Paul has supported other Republicans for President in the past? Why are they shocked now? Virtually every Dem or Rep candidate has thrown their support to the eventual nominee. And these guys may not want to admit it, but Paul is a long time Republican. Yes, indeed he is.
