This was one of my favorite comedians. When I first arrived in the US and heard him, it was like a breath of fresh air, and I felt right at home. To me he was an Irishman to the core, the kind of guy you would meet in a pub. I have one of his books, and while some people read the bible everyday to keep them sane, I dig into his repertoire of jokes and quips to pep up my day. Very, very sad to see him go 🙁 Who will replace him. Wait, there is another comedian …a guy called George Bush 🙂
