They won’t dump him because who knows if they will even be in SD in after next year. If they move to LA the new owners may want to start on a clean slate and not deal with new existing contracts. I don’t know how long his contract is for but this is what I have heard people mention on the street. How credible it is, I have no clue nor do I care. Go GB!
