There was once a home invasion robbery at a house very close to me. You might remember it because it ended in a high-speed pursuit and the cop car ended up hitting, killing a woman pulling out of the Vons plaza. Strangely the home invaders were charged and convicted of her murder.
That being said, it was a rare type of crime and nobody was hurt until the cops hit the woman. We get some street racers and some vandalism but I’ve lived in much worse places. A couple of banks on MM blvd were knocked over as well, but I doubt it was done by locals.
