I guess it comes down to whether you are turned off by basing the curb appeal on the car storage or whether you prefer the look of the garage defining your curb appeal.
I’ve lived with both.. aesthetically I prefer the garage in back, and the house being what you see… but I also like driving straight into the garage and entering the kitchen from the garage. That’s a big plus of an attached garage.
But at least in my neighborhood, most people park their cars in the driveway or street and fill their garages with junk.
