The U.S. middle class becoming poorer is not crack pot theory.It seems to me like an inevitable and perhaps just fact. The need for changes in energy production and consumption going forward is not a crack pot theory.
The apparent assumption that this is really a big deal in the the big scheme of things is what causes me to get somewhat snarky. I believe we will have to do more unjust things to slow the decline of the middle class and other demonstration of excessive wealth. I believe the politicians will pander to the middle class to get “permission” for bad things, which they will of course grant so that they don’t have to sell one car or buy a bread maker or whatever the hell…..
