Is the “side lines” an extraordinarly low yielding savings account or something similar? If so, you missed out on a lot. NQ and S&P up around 10%. Dow up 5% with a median yield of almost 3%. If you forsee the same slow growth in 2013 as we had in 2012, the sideline is not where you want your money.
