LOL they are no longer a socialist country.
They are not a “woke” country sorry to disappoint you LOL
Go look up fascism,
From the all the posts here, imho Brian would be perfectly happy with a fascist US government provided the agenda of a fascist government was exactly what he would want the government to do.
If a progressive leader could make all the policy changes in the US to the vision that Brian wants, he would be supportive of it and throw out the entire concept of democracy or rule of the people. It’s pretty obvious by his statements and viewpoints, and his unwavering and disdain for compromise. He literally thinks it’s an all win at all cost and nothing in between. If a fascist progressive leader here could take away all the voting power of the all the rural white people in southern conservative states that he strongly disagrees with, Brian would have no problem doing it, because he does not understand or care about the principles of our Founding Fathers so long as his ideology wins (hence my reference to the win at all cost). He would essentially make an excuse and say, well those people are ignorant and should not be allowed to vote anyway. And would conveniently make an excuse that well, since conservatives in the past have tried to disenfranchise african americans, what’s wrong with a policy to do this to old rural white people. This sort of people who seek absolute power and absolute control often hides under the guise and falseness of doing things “for the greater good”…. Hitler and Mussolini and Stalin did the same thing. So did Chairman Mao. Many progressives would share and do the exact same thing. And this sort of thinking, regardless if you agree with it’s agenda or not, undermines our Founding Father’s democratic principles. It’s pretty obvious. Why else for this unusual admiration for the PRC’s heavy handed power.
This is why no single party should ever be given absolute power. Our country was founded always about compromise and the inclusive of all viewpoint,s with majority rule being the guiding principle. Unfortunately, that means that fringy people are often underrepresented, but if you think about it, that’s the fairest thing because the majority of the people arent the fringy people….Unfortunately, it appears that fringy people on both sides are both trying to represent the rest of us…and therefore, no one will really be happy and we’ll continuously thrash back and forth between two polar viewpoints every 4-8 years and not move forward.
Why it takes a second generation american born chinese to explain this is beyond me. It seems pretty obvious.
And this is why, Brian, frankly you’re living in the wrong country and wrong continent. You will never be happy here because the fascist government you dream of will never happen in the US. Sorry to disappoint you. You’re in for a decades of disappointment.
