the purpose of most of the fence is to keep in intimidating dogs and wandering goats.
also to make theft/burglary a little more difficult.
a smaller portion of the fence would be that plus decorative. there’s 2plus acres, but could be done in portions. Also, the fence wouldn’t need to go around all that.
also, there is much fence in place already, although it’s unclear for how long.
I’ve been looking at a lot of fencing nowadays as i ride my bike or drive around and it seems like just a piece of treated wood or metal post holding up some wire mesh is a common and not bad solution, where aesthetics don’t count.
Bearishgurl, appreciate the thought that went into the vehicle solution. However, i think I’m going to try one of those trailers attached to my minivan for a little while and see how that goes. In a county this big, there has to be lots of rusty old fence material somewhere lying around for cheap. a boy can dream, can’t he?
