The bear got shot, because price psychology took him in. We are so used to seeing the hyper inflated $600,000.00 average on housing that we forget that the cost of housing is far from being reasonable. When we see a listing for under $500,000.00, we think it is reasonable when in actuality the price is almost as unreasonable as it was a year or so ago. The same can be said for the price of gasoline. We are used to $3.00 a gallon or more and when it dips to $2.95 we are ecstatic when we really shouldn’t be.
