Hubris, Hubris, Hubris.
This idea that everyone was either a Casey Serin striker or hibernating watching “rent vs. buy” and trend lines, is is overplayed too. Many of us maintained an owner occupied house and are none the worse off for it. Some of us made money to varying degrees specifically from Real Estate, often while maintaining an owner occupied house. Also Thousands of “non-piggs” out performed piggs on Real Estate.
